Time to rise and shine!

This morning that time arrived at approximately....3:30 am. I had already spent over an hour tossing and turning in bed.

I was tired of lying there unsuccessfully trying to get to sleep. I made my way into the living room and at 3:30 started watching yesterday's Days of Our Lives and Ellen DeGeneres episodes. Apparently I was either too loud or the TV was too bright, but I was joined by Miss L at 5:15 am.

We quickly became engrossed in a Cricut Expressions infomercial. As girls, we both agreed this could possibly be the most essential thing in our household....if only we had one.

As I was sitting on the recliner, savoring the fact that I was holding my quickly growing girl, I joked about going to Wal-Mart, right then, just the two of us and buying one (at 5:30 in the morning).

Of course, Miss L informed me that I probably shouldn't go spend a bunch of money...."because Daddy wouldn't like it". Geesh! What is that all about? So even at 5 years old and 5 o'clock in the morning we still have to be sensible and responsible?

Steven joined us around six, and Mr. B shortly thereafter.

Needless to say, we had already enjoyed a game of Candyland by 6:30 am.

Steven left for work fairly early and the kids ran outside to enjoy the 60 degree February weather. They were knee deep in mud by 8:00 am. Is THAT sensible and responsible?????

Mr. B seems to think so!

I use to have nights like that. You and Audrey should get together since you are already up so at least one of us could sleep.

Cole and I watched the same infomercial yesterday and we both agreed that we needed a Cricut. Shelly has one. :)

I am so envious of your horses. I want one badly.

What!? Aren't you envious of the pile of dirt my father thought that Mr. B needed?

Don't you want one in your yard for YOUR kids to play on?
