Just wondering....????

Two posts in one day....AMAZING.

This has nothing to do with anything. But I am full of questions.....

Why is the nursery rhyme "Rock a Bye Baby" so tragic.....and why do we all sing it to babies....???

Seriously, "Rock a bye baby, in the tree top. When the wind blows the cradle will rock. When the bow (sp?) brakes the cradle will fall. And down will come baby, cradle and all."

What is up with this?

Was it created by Walt Disney? If so then I think he likes death. Have you ever noticed that either the mother gets killed in a Disney movie or there is no mother to begin with?

I thought that you had dropped off the face of the earth........You need to keep up your blog too.

I do not think that "Rock a Bye Baby" was created by Walt Disney, but now that you mention it he does have a fascination with death.....interesting.

It seems like there are a lot of violent nursery rhymes. I heard that "Ring Around the Rosies" is about the Black Plague, but I don't know that for sure. That old lady in the shoe fed her kids broth (with no bread) then spanked them all (soundly) and sent them to bed. What a rag.
