back by popular demand......

My 3:32 p.m.

1. It is really hot in this office, and I am too lazy to turn the air up.
2. My boss......uuuuggghhhh....shouldn't answer the phone (from his home), when he sees a # on caller id that he wants to talk to, after I have told them that he isn't in the office. (They don't understand that HE ISN'T HERE. REALLY!)
3. I think I have a mean streak.....and I need to pray about it (and the bird flu).
4. I think I just heard a ghost.
5. Can you "hear" ghosts?
6. Becca needs to put a silencer on her ringer.
7. Still.....ghost noises.
8. peanut butter and jelly for supper? sounds good to me.
9. I need to pee, but now am too lazy AND scared of ghost noises.
10. Why does fixing a truck at jerknrun diesel cost so much.....and fixing a fence cost so little?
11. If the bird flu hits, will I get a raise?
12. The hum of the computer isn't relaxing me, I still hear ghost noises.
13. My darling daughter thinks her babysitter IS a ghost. (not sure why???)
14. My darling son is an accident waiting to happen.
15. Like father, like son.

My thoughts......not at all deep.

My thoughts today....

It is hot.
My bra is uncomfortable.
The sound of the air kicking on, is somewhat calming.
My son, when he reaches school age, will probably be known as a B.S.'er
I have hardly spoken to my friend, Exambo, since our DC trip, and I wonder what is going on with her.
My chi iron straightens circles around my wigo.
I wonder where I am going to put Gary's vacuum in my truck in order to get it home tonight since my belt broke?
I need some mulch.
Y & R is getting really good.
When is lizardtamer, princess and chad ever going to blog again?
and finally, only 17 more minutes until I get to go home.

Just wondering....????

Two posts in one day....AMAZING.

This has nothing to do with anything. But I am full of questions.....

Why is the nursery rhyme "Rock a Bye Baby" so tragic.....and why do we all sing it to babies....???

Seriously, "Rock a bye baby, in the tree top. When the wind blows the cradle will rock. When the bow (sp?) brakes the cradle will fall. And down will come baby, cradle and all."

What is up with this?

Rodeo frame of mind

WOW, It has almost been a month since I posted last. I better get myself in gear.

Just wanted to share a quick story about my darling daughter. First, some history. My husband has rodeoed (not sure that is a word) for over 10 years. My daughter has just turned 3 and has grown up on or around the rodeo circuit. However, this year, my husband has mysteriously not participated in any rodeos...... and I am not sure why. I can only hope that he has realized the danger that he faces each time and now that he is the father of two he has a responsibility to his family..... but somehow, I doubt it..... Until I figure out if he has retired or is just "in waiting" I will keep a tight lip. I think if I act too happy that he is no longer doing it that will be all that he needs to jump back in. After all, that is how men work.

So this morning I am driving to work and my kids are in the back seat. I turn on my radio station and for some reason they are playing "The National Anthem". My daughter yells up front to me....."Mom, this a rodeo song?????" Which makes me laugh. If you have ever been to a rodeo you know that they ALWAYS start the rodeo with "The National Anthem" and a prayer. And this is the only time she ever hears this song...... Maybe that is a statement in itself. Maybe we should try and catch the Olympics when they are in Beijing. That might give her a little more exposure......if the US can win any gold's.
